Understanding color trends is essential for the furniture industry and for HPL and LPL manufacturers. Trendy and successful laminates and furniture rely on these insights, as colors can spark consumer interest and create desire.

Thanks to the trend scouting by our Didier Galerne Design Studio in Paris, France, and the expertise of our color laboratory, we are excited to present our new color trend collection. This collection is designed to inspire our HPL and LPL customers with the latest color orientations to meet future market demands.

In a world characterized by political conflicts, regional tensions, economic and climate uncertainties, people are taking care more and more of their surroundings and of their living spaces.

In this unstable world, people seek protection, comfort, positive vibes and at the same time express a strong need to be closer from the mother nature.

Nature has always been a great source of inspiration and is the key to our well-being. Based on natural elements, this collection features twelve trendy colors grouped into four families of three colors each: MOSS, DUNE, SOIL, and MOOR.

Considering all these parameters, Munksjö has designed a brand-new solid color decor paper trends 2024-2025 for coloring our living spaces made of laminate surface materials with inspiring natural and well-being colors.

1-MOSS

Green expresses nature. Green is the symbol of life, a connection to our mother nature. Mosses are one of the earliest signs of life on earth, expressing fertility and growth like a link to our natural environment.

Green colors bring a sense of the surrounding landscape into our interior and are easy colors to combine with wood decors.

2-DUNE

Light and soft beiges evoke sand and seashore. It is timeless tones expressing a need of calm and serenity. They are suitable for building an idea of harmony and are easy to combine with other materials.

They are the perfect color ingredients for creating living spaces or furniture with a feeling of well-being.

3-SOIL

Earthy tones like clay, humus, stone are evoking an idea of implanting, cheering and primitive. It is new medium tones perfectly matching with contemporary woodgrains, creating a blend of balance and calm.

This is a palette of colors for creative travelers and connoisseurs of craft and very suitable to create interiors that relax, and create the nourishing atmosphere we need.

4-MOOR

Purple and blue inspired from wild landscapes, heather, and berries. are often synonymous of mystery. This color story tends to express a certain idea of mysticism and well-built elegant & modern surroundings.

These colors work well together creating a harmonious feel and It is a nice color palette to be combined with many other materials and decors.

All the papers are ready for industrial production and suitable for HPL/CPL, and LPL transformation processes. Our solid color decor papers achieve a minimum light fastness (EN 438-2 part 27 – HPL/Indoor) of 4 or higher on the grey scale as described in standard EN 20105-A02, which corresponds to 6 on the blue scale according to European Norms.
