Passionate about architecture in all its forms, Marguerite Boos has dedicated her career to the construction, restoration, and rehabilitation of diverse buildings—ranging from private homes and public spaces to hotels and collective housing. She holds a ”Diplôme d’Architecte D.P.L.G.” from the Strasbourg School of Architecture. She later deepened her expertise in architectural heritage at the prestigious École de Chaillot in Paris.

Marguerite has a profound love for color and materials, seeing them as essential elements in giving each building its own unique identity and character. She carefully selects colors and finishes to enhance the architecture’s aesthetic appeal and its integration into the landscape, making spaces truly come to life:

Didier Galerne

Designer / Art Director

An extensive view on the decoration area from design concepts to products, gives DIDIER GALERNE a real expertise on that field.

Based in Paris (France) the Studio Didier Galerne provides more than 40 years of experience in the decor business for interior and exterior projects.
His studio specializes in trend monitoring, analysis and the development of global design concepts, focusing on colors, materials, textiles, and decoration. The office collaborates internationally with renowned companies such as Villeroy & Boch and Concordia Textile.

For Munksjö, Didier Galerne has developed color and trend collections over many years. With extensive market expertise, the studio provides valuable services, including the creation of new collections, the expansion of existing ranges, and the development of harmonious color combinations. The goal is to support companies in product development and creation of collections with well-founded trend and design solutions.

Sébastien Alainé

Sébastien Alainé Head of Marketing & Communication Munksjö Arches S.A.S.

After receiving his Master’s in Marketing and International Business, Sébastien Alainé began his career in 1995 in the automotive battery sector. In 2002, he transitioned to the paper industry, joining Arjowiggins as Marketing Manager. In 2008, Sébastien was promoted to Marketing Director for the decor paper business at Ahlstrom-Munksjö. He redefined marketing positioning and contributed to significantly promote the solid color offering.

Since 2022, Sébastien has served as the Head of Marketing, Communication & Design at Munksjö. His passion for paper, innovation and design contribute to highlighting and differentiating Munksjö’s unique competitive edges in solid colors and pre-impregnated foil-based papers.


Meet Nicolas Simonnet

Nicolas Simonnet
Technical Customer Service Director

In 2007, he joined what is now the Munksjo Group, eventually becoming the Technical Customer Service Director for Decor Paper, leading a team providing global technical support to its customers. Most recently, Nicolas received a Global Executive MBA and since Oct 1, 2022 has also taken management responsibility for the French entities of Munksjo - Arches paper mill and Apprieu R&D Cente

After receiving his Master’s in Paper Engineering, Nicolas started his career working in the paper industry by leading production units, driving process improvements, and a variety of development projects.

In 2007, he joined what is now the Munksjo Group, eventually becoming the Technical Customer Service Director for Decor Paper, leading a team providing global technical support to its customers. Most recently, Nicolas received a Global Executive MBA and since Oct 1, 2022 has also taken management responsibility for the French entities of Munksjo – Arches paper mill and Apprieu R&D Center.

Sebastien Charignon
R&D Director

Meet our expert: Sebastien Charignon - R&D Director

Sébastien Charignon is a graduate of the French engineering school PAGORA (Grenoble) in 2003, specializing in Paper, Print Media, and Biomaterials. He has held various roles in the papermaking industry, including positions as a Process Engineer and R&D Engineer.

In 2014, he became R&D Director of the Munksjö Group. Throughout his career, he has been dedicated to the development of decor paper. He currently manages the company’s R&D project portfolio and, since late 2022, has also been responsible for the Munksjö Sustainability department, working to connect sustainability initiatives with the development of the next generation of more sustainable materials for decorative surfaces.
